Keeping you informed

As the impact of COVID-19 continues to be felt on our daily lives our number one priority remains the well-being of students, educators, staff and the overall community.

School Photography Update

The introduction of remote and flexible learning across Victoria from 15 April 2020 has meant that school photography could not continue as scheduled for term 2.  Even though students are allowed to return to school earlier than originally expected we will not recommence photography until term 3.

Our team is working hard to reschedule any photo days that fall within this period to term 3 or 4. As we reschedule photo days, we will share updates with you.

At this stage, we hope that photography will be able to go ahead again in terms 3 and 4.  We want you and your children to have good memories of 2020 so we’re working hard to ensure we have a safe way of photographing later in the year.  It may be a slightly different type of photography to what we’re all used to though!

Preschool Photography Update

Even though Preschools are still open a large number of parents are keeping their children home. The majority of 3-year-old kinder classes have been cancelled for term 2.  Centres are implementing strict social distancing guidelines which include parents or caregivers not being allowed to enter the centre.

Based on this we have determined that it’s in the best interest of your children and our employees to temporarily pause Preschool photography until 12th June.  We will recommence preschool photography on 15th June 2020.

Our team is working hard to reschedule any photo days that fall within this period to term 3 or 4. As we reschedule photo days, we will share updates with you.

Confirmation and Communion Photography

Given the current government restrictions mandating the closure of all Churches, we have had to cancel all scheduled confirmation and communion photography. We will continue to monitor the situation and will share updates with you when the situation changes.

Delivery

We’re still open and busy processing all the photographs that have already been taken to date and short of regulatory intervention, will remain open throughout COVID-19.  Where possible our staff are following government advice and working from home which means we have a skeleton staff on-site that are also adhering to social distancing while printing and packing your photos.  As you can appreciate this has resulted in slightly slower processing times.

We delivered as many schools as we could prior to the early closure of schools on 24th March, and continued to deliver to schools over the following weeks. If you don’t have your photos yet it’s likely they are in your school’s office waiting to be handed out when students return to school in a few weeks. We know that you’re keen to receive your photos but we ask for your patience and understanding as this situation is out of our control and your school’s.

Even though schools are opening they are also on skeleton staff so please be patient as we’re sure your school will distribute the photos as soon as they can.
