Keeping you informed
We are all thankful to exit lockdown and move towards a COVID normal lifestyle.
Students have returned to the classroom but the Department of Education and Training guidelines state that school photography is not currently allowed. The current government restrictions are in place until Tuesday 10th August so we are assuming that the guidelines will also be valid until that date. As a result, we don’t expect to be able to complete school photography currently booked up to Tuesday 10th August.
At this stage, we hope to recommence photography on Wednesday 11th August, pending updates to the DET guidelines.
Our customer service team are available to take calls or you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will respond as soon as possible.
For more information on how we work within COVID safe guidelines please read our Smile Safe policy.
School Photography Update
If your school photography was scheduled between 28th July and 10th August, inclusive, our team is working hard with school’s to find alternative dates. Families will be advised of new photography dates once confirmed.
If you are a school and need to contact us please email email@example.com as our Account Managers continue to work remotely. Please be patient as they will need to prioritise schools and preschools that were scheduled to be photographed during the above period.
At this stage, we hope to return to photography on Wednesday 11th August 2021 pending changes to the DET guidelines.
Preschool Photography Update
Preschools have been open throughout lockdown but we’ve been unable to photograph due to restrictions that have now been lifted. The current “Early childhood education and care COVID-19 update” does not include a restriction on photography.
SchoolPix is open for business so we are happy to photograph any preschools that would like to continue with their booking.
We will find alternative dates in term 4 for any centres that don’t wish to proceed at this time. Families wIll be advised of the new photography dates once confirmed.
Our team will work with your preschool to ensure that we return to photograph when it’s safe to do so for your children and our staff.
Confirmation and Communion Photography
Under current government restrictions, religious gatherings and ceremonies are permitted for up to 100 people indoors and up to 300 people outdoors. As long as any Sacrament bookings meet these requirements in addition to the density quotient of 1 person per 4 sqm we are able to photograph.
If your school or preschool photography day was postponed due to lockdown or current DET restrictions and you had already placed an order then it will be held in our system until photography is completed. It will then be processed as per normal and dispatched to the school, preschool or your home address if you paid for it to be sent directly to you.
If you require a refund please contact our Customer Service Team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you received an order flyer and wish to place your order you can still do so using our online ordering system. It will be held until your school or preschool photography day is completed.
You can also continue to place reorders or late orders as they will be printed and sent directly to your home address.
Our delivery time will be impacted by limitations to the number of staff we are allowed to have on-site and our ability to enter school grounds. There are minimal delays to any orders that are to be posted to home.
If you have any questions please contact our Customer Service Team on 1300 766 055 they will be happy to help you.
