Keeping you informed

With the introduction of Stage 4 restrictions across Melbourne and the return to remote and flexible learning for all students in Victoria from Wednesday 5th August 2020, we all continue to feel the impact of COVID-19 on our daily lives.  Our number one priority remains the well-being of students, educators, staff and the overall community.

These requirements apply to all schools across the government, Catholic and independent sectors and across all metropolitan Melbourne and rural and regional Victoria. It also applies to kindergarten and early childhood centres in metropolitan Melbourne.

School Photography Update

The Stage 4 restrictions that are in place until Sunday 13 September 2020 mean that school photography can not continue as scheduled for term 3.  Our team has already been working with your school to find an alternative date in term 4.

At this stage, we hope that photography will be able to go ahead in term 4.  We want you and your children to have good memories of 2020 so we’ve worked hard to create our ‘Safe Smiles” policy to ensure we have a safe way of photographing them when we return.

Preschool Photography Update

From Wednesday 5 August, kindergarten and early childhood centres in metropolitan Melbourne will only be open for vulnerable children and children whose parents are essential workers.

This means that we will be unable to complete your preschool’s photography during this time. Our team will work with your preschool to reschedule photography day where possible, but given term 4 has a limited number of weeks we may not be able to fit every preschool in this year.

Confirmation and Communion Photography

Given the current government restrictions mandating the closure of all Churches, we have had to cancel all scheduled confirmation and communion photography. We will continue to monitor the situation and will share updates with you when the situation changes.

Delivery – Delays Expected

We’re still open and busy printing your photographs.  The Stage 4 restrictions still allow us to remain open throughout this lockdown period.  Where possible our staff are following government advice and working from home which means we have a skeleton staff on-site that are also adhering to social distancing rules while printing and packing your photos.

As you can appreciate this has resulted in slower processing times so please expect some delay in your order being completed and dispatched. We ship all orders via Australia Post who are also working within Stage 4 restrictions so you may experience some delay with your delivery.  We thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.  We can assure you we are doing our best to get orders out as soon as possible.
